Hello my dear Steemians,

Today I wanted to share with you a sweet post. As you know the time approaching Easter time and what kind of Easter holiday without Chocolates and sweets.

What kind of chocolates you prefer?

Our favourite is the chocolates from Lindt. The Easter time we have a lot of Easter bunnies in different shops and of course it is must to buy them when we go shopping.

Recently, the friend of our son whose parents had their own business with sweets, marmalade offered to do some milk chocolate specially for us. We were very pleased and of course were very excited to taste the fine, homemade Scottish chocolate.

It is interesting how sometimes the children while growing also change their dreams about future professions. Like in this case the boy was dreaming of continuing the business of their parents. But later on despite of enjoying that he has other dreams and the business needed to be closed down.

I do not know if it is good or bad. But it seems we all can have different dreams and overgrow with the time. Nevertheless, sometimes we stay loyal our children dreams. The only question is if we still them enjoy it when we get older.

As to the chocolates “CochraneS” it is good for me it had taste of raisin but @myskye does not think so. Our son liked it very much.

For me I still love Lindt bunnies, no matter how good other chocolates are.

I love the chocolate from "Kinder" (Kinder Schokolade). Also lindt is so good, thats right!

Enjoy yours! All the best!

Usually after such chocolate bunny (which is 200g!) I promise myself, no chocolate for next month but it is difficult to keep that promise. For now I am going into two weeks of no carbs, we will see how it will be :)

I really like chocolate, and most men give chocolate to special women in their life, have a nice day.

I love Lindt too. My wife recently found a recipe for baby chocolate, basically a healthier version of chocolate thats ok to give to our baby daughter. Its made with dates to give sweetness. I honestly didnt expect it to taste good but I was so wrong, its amazing!!

That made me curious, must be really natural sweet, I can imagine that your daughter loved it :) Are there any traditional chocolates produced in Ireland? Over here in UK, the chocolates are too sweet I do not really like them.

Haha yes she loved it. I think my wife may be making it again this weekend. I should take some photos as I love food photography too. There are some nice Irish chocolate companies too. There's a great one called Lily O'Brien's that make some really nice luxury chocolates, they are very sweet though.

yummy I am addicted to chocolate haha, we get Lindt here in the States as well, so yummy, and such a great brand of chocolate.

Yes, I thought so, Lindt is the King among Chocolates. Have you ever tried to do own chocolate?

Yep I have tutorials for both standard dark chocolate and milk chocolate, but they use cocoa powder with either cacao butter or coconut oil. Fun DIY chocolate. But you really need a conching machine to get super smooth chocolate, like the chocolate shops get. Very hard to imitate that at home.

Hola @stef1, se ven deliciosos esos chocolates, en mi país se produce uno muy rico, el chocolate de marca Savoy y bueno no falta para compartir un momento especial. Me encanta el chocolate. Saludos.

I heard about Savoy chocolate, but never tried. There are indeed a lot of different brands :)

Ah yes, memories of Easter chocolates!

When I was little, my favorite was that Lindt milk chocolate in the wrapper that was two shades of blue with the milk pail in the middle. It looks a little different since the 1970s.

Nowadays, I have less of a taste for sugar, but I like bittersweet chocolate very much... home made, commercial; I am not picky!

I can imagine Lindt has a long history and the products definitely had been changed since.

It was the time when I loved dark chocolate, but lately I like milk chocolate more :)
