The Green among of Greenery [Macro-Photography Series]

HI EVERYONE!

A few days ago I read in a newspaper about an outbreak of a toxic caterpillar attacking London.

The London City government has warned its citizens after knowing that a farmer experiences severe symptoms after touching with its poisonous larvae.

I was shocked because such news was so rare, let alone that has happened in London recently. Hopefully, the outbreak did not spread to my place.

As always, to start the story, the macro camera is still in my hands, I crawl on the green grass area to see something I can make an object, apart from the news in London, I hope the caterpillars I found are non-toxic.

Previously, my feet were stepping on the grass as usual, my eyes were looking in different directions without finding anything to shoot.

I was surprised when I learned that there are many green caterpillars behind the green grass. It did not appear in my eyes at first, it was like a camouflage.

Let us look at this larvae from close range

I found a motif in the whole caterpillar body, and on the front of the head look like a pair of big eyes. It's really similar! However, it is just a natural trick, false eyes to trick his predators.

It's not alone

This is what makes me feel very amused, after knowing that this caterpillar is everywhere. I started to walk slowly to get away, afraid if some of them just went to my pants. Hihi...
