In the development of history in Aceh Besar district, there is an old mosque, known as the Indrapuri Old Mosque. This mosque was built when Islam began to spread and develop in these areas.

In some references say that the mosque has existed since the 12th century BC, and until now this old mosque can still be seen. The uniqueness of this mosque is, according to sources that I read, built from the ground temples, and when Islam has spread, the mosque was put into use.
