Hello steemians have a good day! This picture is one of the custom or traditions of the filipinos, it is called bayanihan.

With the modern advancement, nowadays we are enjoying through gadget and modern technology. And it looks like that some of us has forgotten our traditions that will define us as being Filipino. One example is the BAYANIHAN. Many people or filipinos now, especially mellinnials don't know what bayanihan means. Bayanihan means, helping your neighbors to take or lift their house in other location which they will be comfortable, it is by helping hands. Like what we saw in the picture.

But did you know? After the bayanihan, the owner will give food to the one who help lifting their house. Food that usually be eaten after the bayanihan is the mongo and pancit. Bayanihan's trending on early 50's to 90's.The bayanihan is one of the filipino tradition from a filipino word bayan which means community or nation. It also means as being as one filipino community, being united as one.

Cooperation, patience, smile, faith to each other, work, hospitability and strong faith to our God are the characteristics of Filipinos.
