I Have A Science Question About This Maple Leaf
I found this peculiar leaf as I was walking in the park yesterday. I suppose that the black spots are some sort of disease. It is also interesting that it turned brown only on one section of the leaf.
Here’s my question: do you think the black spots and the brown area are related or is it just coincidental?

I don't really know but I think the brown part because it's the fall season not because of the disease. Well, maybe I'm wrong.
