El clásico del rio de la plata nos dará uno de los partidos mas interesantes en esta fecha FIFA correspondiente a las eliminatoria para el Mundial Ruisa 2018. Uruguay welcomes the powerful selection of Argentina in Montevideo; this match has several situations to take into account that further increase the expectation for this classic between two of the strongest and most successful teams in South America.

For his part, Uruguay has a compact group and the Dt Oscar Washington Tabárez, who has been in front of the Uruguayan team since 2006. The most relevant situation against the Uruguayan team is if Barcelona´s striker Luis Suarez will be or not available to participate in the game. We have to remember that he is recovering from a right knee injury sustained on August 16, but against all odds, he has achieved a faster recovery than expected.

Even tho Tabarez has been very cautious about the subject and in the pre-match press conference, he said that they would be evaluating the player until the last training session before the match and that if he is able to complete it without a problem, they would assess whether or not it would participate in this important game.

We must not forget that in the attack there is also Edison Cavani who currently plays at a very high level at Paris Saint Germain and on previous occasions due to injuries or suspensions, the Uruguayan team has been able to win without Luis Suarez.

On the other hand Argentina arrives at this encounter in a very different situation, although they have available and in good form the majority of its star players like Dybala, Messi, Di Maria and Higuain, they get to this game classified in the fifth place of the South American qualifier with 22 points, after a painful defeat against Bolivia at La Paz, one point less than Uruguay, therefore they arrive in Uruguay with the need to win in order to get out of this uncomfortable situation, that turns to be more relevant taking into account that they have many of the best players in the world and that they are one of the countries with a stronger football tradition with two world championships.

Also we must remember that this encounter is the debut of their new manager, Jorge Sampaoli, which puts even more pressure on the team since they are under the obligation to win to justify the arrival of this trainer after the difficult that was to contract him since he was still on contract with Sevilla when he was already negotiating his entry as coach of the Albiceleste.

Uruguay recibe a la poderosa selección de Argentina en Montevideo, este partido posee varias situaciones a tomar en cuenta que aumentan aun más la expectativa para este clásico entre dos de las selecciones más fuertes y ganadoras de Suramérica.

Por su lado Uruguay posee un grupo compacto y al maestro Oscar Washington Tabárez, quien lleva delante de la selección charrúa desde el año 2006. La situación mas relevante frente a la selección de Uruguay es si el delantero estrella del Barcelona, Luis Suarez se encontrara o no disponible para participar en el encuentro. Tenemos que recordar que el mismo se encuentra recuperando de una lesión en la rodilla derecha sufrida el 16 de agosto, pero contra todo pronóstico ha logrado una recuperación más rápida de lo esperada.

De todas formas el maestro Tabarez ha sido muy cauto al respecto con respecto al tema y en la rueda de prensa previa al encuentro ha dicho que estarían evaluando el jugador hasta la última sesión de entrenamiento antes del encuentro, y que si es capaz de culminarla sin problema evaluarían si participaría o no en el importante encuentro.

No debemos de olvidar que en el ataque igualmente se encuentra Edison Cavani quien actualmente se desempeña a un muy alto nivel en el Paris Saint Germain y en ocasiones anteriores debido a lesiones o suspensiones, el equipo Uruguayo ha sido capaz de obtener la victoria sin Suarez.

Por otro lado Argentina llega a este encuentro en una situación muy diferente, a pesar de que poseen disponibles y en buena forma la mayoría de sus jugadores estrella como Dybala, Messi, Di Maria e Higuain, llegan clasificados en el quinto puesto de la eliminatoria Sudamericana con 22 puntos, uno menos que Uruguay, por lo que llegan con la necesidad de ganar para salir de esta incomoda situación, mas aun tomando en cuenta que poseen muchos de los mejores jugadores del mundo y una tradición futbolística de las más importantes a nivel mundial con dos campeonatos mundiales.

También hay que recordar que este encuentro es el debuto de Jorge Sampaoli, lo cual pone aun más presión sobre el equipo ya que se encuentran en la obligación de ganar para justificar la llegada de este entrenador luego de lo difícil que fue contratarlo ya que no había terminado su contrato con el Sevilla cuando ya se encontraba negociando su entrada como seleccionador de la Albiceleste.

El escenario está listo para uno de los encuentros más importantes y emocionantes del año. Creemos que Argentina posee una pequeña ventaja para ganar este encuentro pero debido a lo difícil que es Uruguay bajo cualquier circunstancia como rival, creemos que lo más posible es que el encuentro termine en un empate.
