The English Premier League will kick off on the 12th of August 2017. The following fixtures are subject to change. There will be a repeat of the first match of the 2016/17 season where Arsenal will face Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium. Other matches will see the newly promoted Brighton face Manchester City, Chelsea against Burnley, Manchester United vs West Ham United, Rafa Benitez’s Newcastle against Tottenham Hotspur, Watford vs Liverpool. The match to look forward to on the opening day will be played at the St James’ Park where Newcastle will take on Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool. It will be interesting to see how Rafa Benitez men would perform on their return to the premier league after conquering the lower league previous season.

Saturday, August 12th

Saturday, August 19th

The excitement will continue on the second game day when last season’s champion Chelsea takes on last season’s runner up, Tottenham Hotspur. It’s going to be a very tight affair at the Stamford Bridge where it ended 2-1 in favor of the blues last season. Some other matches will see two newly promoted sides Huddersfield and Newcastle United take on each other, Liverpool vs Crystal Palace, Guardiola’s Manchester City vs Everton at the Etihad, Swansea take on Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United, and the giant killer will be Stoke City vs Arsenal at the bet365 stadium.

Saturday, August 26th

Liverpool vs Wenger’s Arsenal will be the standout game in the third game day. Arsene Wenger has found it difficult to beat Jurgen Klopp’s men in recent times. He has failed in his last three attempts, losing two and drawing one. It will be interesting to see how Arsenal performs this time at the Anfield Stadium.

Saturday, September 9th

Pep Guardiola will go against Jurgen Klopp in the Etihad Stadium when Manchester City takes on Liverpool in the fourth game day. Guardiola is yet to defeat Klopp’s men in the league through two attempts, losing one and drawing one. I expect to see a much improved Manchester City team next season, so this is going to be an exciting game to look forward to.

Saturday, September 16th

The big one on Matchday 5 will be played at the Stamford Bridge where Chelsea will play Arsenal. Arsenal underperformed last season but were able to manage two victories against Antonio Conte’s men in three games, with one victory coming in the league and the other in the FA Cup Final. Arsenal won that game 2-1. This will be the second meeting between these two sides next season; the first will be in the Community Shield.

Saturday, September 23rd

On game day 6, we will see the Gooners take on West Brom at the Emirates, Leicester City host Liverpool at the Kings Power Stadium, Manchester City play host to Crystal Palace at the Etihad, Southampton take on Manchester United at the Saint Mary’s, Stoke City go up against reigning champions Chelsea at the bet365 stadium, West Ham play host to Tottenham at the new London stadium. The game to look forward to will be the London derby between Westham and Tottenham.

Saturday, September 30th

It promises to be another tight affair in game day 7 when Chelsea hosts Manchester City in one of the biggest games of the season. Manchester City finished in 3rd place last season and Guardiola’s men will be looking to move a step further this new season and what better way to do that than to make a big statement early on in the season by defeating the reigning champions.

Saturday, October 14th

In game day 8, the Reds will play against the Red Devils. It’s one of the biggest fixtures in English Premier League history. All eyes will be on Anfield on 14 October, 2017 when Liverpool takes on Manchester United. Manchester United finished in 6th last season, but thry still managed to qualify for the Champions League thanks to their victory against a young Ajax team in the Europa League Final. Jose Mourinho will have no excuse not to challenge for the championship this time around so I expect a cracking game at Anfield.

Saturday, October 21st

Liverpool will follow up their game against Manchester United with another big game away from home against Tottenham Hotspur at the Wembley Stadium on game day 9. Due to the ongoing reconstruction at the White Hart Lane, the Spurs will now play all their home games at the Wembley Stadium. Sadly for Spurs, they have a rather bad victory record at the Wembley. Hopefully they will be able to turns things around next season. In Mauricio Pochettino, they have a coach that can take them to reach greater heights.

Saturday, October 28th

Manchester United will welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Old Trafford in game day 10. The last game between these two ended in a 2-1 favor of Spurs; goals from Victor Wanyama, Harry Kane and Rooney settled the tie. Man UTD will be looking to get one over the new North London big boys when they go against each other on October 28th 2017. The game is a must watch for game day 10.

Saturday, November 4th

Manchester United will be playing their third big game in four weeks when they take on Chelsea at the Stamford Bridge on game day 11; we are sure that we are going to hear some words from the man himself, Jose Mourinho. Mourinho will be going against his former club once more. He has not really enjoyed success against his former club asides the 2-0 tactical masterclass he managed to pull off at the Old Trafford last season. Manchester United fans will be looking for a similar result come November 4, 2017.
And, it’s a double big game game week. Manchester City also takes on Arsenal at the Etihad Stadium. Aside from the 2-1 defeat to Guardiola’s men last season, Arsenal has enjoyed a seven game undefeated streak against Manchester City. The Gunners fans have now somewhat developed this confidence when it’s time to go up against the blue side of Manchester. We will see if their confidence holds this time around.

Saturday, November 18th

It’s the big North London Derby on game day 12; Arsenal takes on Tottenham Hotspur at the Emirates Stadium. This fixture is gradually becoming one that most Arsenal fans dread due to how difficult it has been for the Gooners to see the Spurs in recent times. Arsenals last recorded win against Tottenham was as far back as 2014 when a goal from Tomas Rosicky was enough to win the game for Arsenal. It should be remembered that an embarrassing 2-0 defeat last season ended Arsenal’s hopes of a top 4 finish. Arsene Wenger, having just signed a new 2 year contract will be looking to give the fans something to celebrate about when these two come up against each other come November 18, 2017.

Saturday, November 25th

Liverpool was able to secure a place in the Champions League thanks to a 3-0 victory over the relegated Middlesbrough team on the final day of last season. It will be interesting to see how they will manage to rotate their squad due to the increased number of fixtures and keep key players such as Firminio, Coutinho and Mane fresh for key encounters such as the home game against Chelsea. This is a big game to watch out for on game day 13.

Tuesday, November 28th

On game day 14, we will witness Bournemouth take on Burnley at the Vitality Stadium, the last game between these two sides ended in a 2-1 in favor of Bournemouth with Joshua King scoring the winner. Arsenal will welcome new boys Huddersfield Town to the Emirates, Brighton goes up against Palace at the Amex Stadium. We will also see Leicester City play host to Spurs at the Kings Power Stadium. Watford vs United and West Brom vs Newcastle.

Wednesday, November 29th

Chelsea will play Swansea at the Stamford Bridge, it ended 3-1 last time out in favor of the Blues. Everton will tackle West Ham at Goodison Park, the Etihad boys will welcome Southampton and Stoke City goes up against Liverpool at the Bet 365 Stadium.

Saturday, December 2nd

Wenger will be looking to continue his recent upturn in form against Mourinho when Arsenal welcomes Manchester United to the Emirates for what promises to be a tight and interesting affair. After a previous run of 13 matches without a win against Mourinho, Arsene Wenger defeated Mourinho last time out of courtesy by 2 unreplied goals. This game will show us if that win was just a fluke or if Wenger now finally has what it takes to challenge Jose.

Saturday, December 9th

In game day 16, we will see the first Merseyside derby of the season which consists of Liverpool and Everton at the Anfield. There is great history between these two and the rivalry is also intense. Liverpool has somewhat overshadowed Everton in recent times, recording victories in their last 3 meetings and I expect them to carry on that impressive form into this game. The Manchester derby will also be on when United welcomes City to the Old Trafford. The battle between two of the greatest managers will continue when Guardiola takes his men to battle against Mourinho’s men. Game day 16 is a must watch.

Tuesday, December 12th

Wednesday, December 13th

Saturday, December 16th

Saturday, December 23rd

Tuesday, December 26th

I see a major upset happening when Newcastle plays host to Manchester City at the Saint James’s Park on Boxing Day. Boxing Day football is a tradition in the English Premier League and the excitement will continue when Rafa Benitez men go up against Pep Guardiola’s men.

Saturday, December 30th

The final game day of the year will see the Spurs take on West Ham in a London derby, Arsenal away to West Bromwich Albion, Chelsea play Stoke City at the Stamford Bridge, Liverpool take on Leicester City, Palace play a tough one against Manchester City, and Manchester United play host to the Saints. All the teams will be looking to end the year on a high so this game day promises to be full of action.

Who are you backing to win the English Premier League next season?

Thanks @steemsports for sharing the sports schedule.

One of my favorite leagues

LOVE THIS POST. Glory Glory ManUnited!

I think Chelsea will be a winner again.
But my sympathy goes for Liverpool.

Great post. I expect Arsenal to fail again, and Manchester City to be much better than last season.

Steemsports, always on top as usual. Clean

@steemsports .. good post and thank information

Thanks for this, @steemsports ! Can I recommend something? since you have quite a following on here, i'd suggest you organize a Fantasy Premier League contest. We are several people on here playing this game every year, but it's not easy to find new recruits or old recruits. We barely can see each other. Maybe if you advertised it, it could become huge! Thx
