NFL Fantasy 10/21
We are back with another edition of NFL Fantasy Today! Week 7 will feature 11 games on Sunday plus a Monday Night Football game tomorrow but for this edition we will just focus on today's action. We will be back with a single game format for the Monday Night Football game tomorrow. There are some fascinating match-ups and there is one team that I think will rise above the rest today when it comes to fantasy football points and production.
The team that I like the most today is the Detroit Lions. They will be playing down in Miami and that means warm weather and sunshine. We saw the Miami Dolphins defense get shredded last week against the Chicago Bears offense and I think the Lions will be able to do the exact same thing. So let's get started with the quarterback position.
M Stafford QB 5800. Matthew Stafford comes at a very good price today. He became the highest paid quarterback in the NFL last year and he needs to play at a much more consistent and high level than he has. That will get started today against a weak Dolphins secondary. I like Stafford to throw 3+ touchdown passes today and put up a big fantasy number.
T Cohen RB 5100. Tarik Cohen is a name that a lot of people have not heard of. He is the shortest player in the NFL but the Chicago Bears running back has explosive speed and is not only a threat running the ball, but also is very dangerous catching passes out of the backfield. He has the ability to rip off a big play every time he touches the ball and will be a big part of the Bears offense today against the New England Patriots defense.
K Golladay WR 6000. If the Detroit Lions quarterback, Matthew Stafford, is going to have a big day then we also need to use one of his wide receivers. And that is Kenny Golladay. I don't think any of the Miami Dolphins defensive backs will be able to slow Golladay down and he will be Stafford's favorite target. Look for Stafford to target Golladay 12+ times and the pair to connect in the end zone at least once.
Tampa Bay Bucs D 2300. The Tampa Bay Bucs defense is not having a good year and they have struggled a lot. But today they get to face the rookie quarterback, Baker Mayfield, and the Cleveland Browns at home. Mayfield has been prone to throwing interceptions and also fumbling the ball so that could mean for big points for the Bucs D. They are also extremely cheap at this price so that will free up the salary cap to be more aggressive in another area.
All of the NFL action will get started in a couple hours. There is a lot on the line today for these teams and players. Hopefully the Detroit Lions will put up a big number on the board and these players will be the reason why. Good luck with all of your fantasy picks today.
