PeakFinder is the best solution.This is one of the most important app If you're a frequent hiker or mountaineer.
It Includes more than 350'000 peak names.
PeakFinder shows a 360° panoramic view from an arbitrary viewpoint of your choice. To render the panoramic views PeakFinder uses an elevation model that is integrated into the App. A database with a peak directory is included as well. For these reasons PeakFinder does not need an online connection for rendering the panoramic view and works completely offline from anywhere in the mountains.
PeakFinder is available for iOS and Android devices.

Great for learning mountains that you are seeing around you.I love the app, it does exactly what I want it to do.
This app is absolutely brilliant! It finds peaks. You can also take pictures with the labels over the peaks.
Love that it works offline; just need to download the geographical database ahead of time. Brilliant!

This is one of the most amazing apps I've ever seen! I wonder how the developer managed to put in not only 300k peaks, but the shape of the horizon anywhere in the world.
This is perfect for my friend. She loves to hike and take pictures on top. I wish i can too but I'm not fit. 😅 It's cool to see the name of each peak. :)
I am not a higher but I can imagine the fulfilment that will come with getting to the top of places most people won't even dare. This app will surely spur hikers to climb those mountains.
