Highlights
This section will highlight any observations made while analysing the data.
Observation from this week
Chronos Crypto has had his worker proposal accepted by the Bitshares shareholders and is now being paid by the Bitshares network itself to provide a minimum of 3 videos per month, Congrats Chronos! and feel free to exceed our expectations; there are a lot of content required. Check out Chronos previous works Intro to Bitshares - Bitshares Inflation Rate Buying Bitshares the Easy Way
At the recent Coinsbank Party hosted by Ronny Boesing of OpenLedger Bitshares was mentioned as one of few platforms with the 'most real transactions' alongside Bitcoin, Dash and Ethereum. The party concluded 3 days for beer , wine and blockchain with a special performance by PSY.
Fun Casino has paid out .697 BTC in dividends this week to its FUNC holders
Cointelegraph has written an article on Blockpay POS systems see it HERE
Blockpay has been listed on coincap.io an alternate to coinmarektcaps with a really nice mobile application for Android and IOS; Checkout Blockpay listing HERE
Market markers are still very active on the Bitshares DEXand are providing a good amount of liquidity
User account 'enter' has been registering a lot of 3 character user accounts and has also issued the asset 'GAMES' and put an order on the DEX selling 10,000,000 GAMES at a price of 0.1 BTS per GAMES token; this sparks the question what will this asset and all these accounts be used for in the future? what ever the case name registration on this scale is not cheap so this maybe a project to watch out for..
compumatrix1 has registered another asset 'ELOAD' described as a token used to top up prepaid service platforms including but not limited to prepaid phones, insurance, other utilities, payment processors, prepaid cards and cryptocurrency wallets.
Compumatrix core asset 'COMPUCEEDS' has been seen increased volume throughout this week although price has not move significantly since the previous report.
BTER is still seeing its users remove BTS from their wallets and re-distribute them else where after re-enabling trading and withdrawl on the BTS 2.0 chain 2 weeks earlier; this week the BTER hot wallet saw a 17% reduction.
The last asset registered this week is asset #1167 and is named 'NOKRX' registered by 'page01'
A testament to Bitshares stable coins Transwiser was able to settle 85,000 CNY this week at its pegged value
The Bitshares network is 26 days away from completing it social contract with AGS and PTS holders!!! this will have a huge impact in the future of Bitshares. if you are not sure what i am referring to i HIGHLY recommend reading Vesting Bitshares in Short Supply - Social Contract Near Completion - The History and The End Of An Era
Thanks for viewing :)
I value your feedback.
Is there something more you would like me to track in these reports? or do you have some information for the next BSoTN report? please let me know in the comments, on steemit.chat, in the 'BitsharesDEX' Telegram group or every Friday in the the BeyondBitcoin Hangouts.
I hope you enjoyed this report! :)
Thank you for giving me great confidence in holding my BitShares.
i think sometimes it can be discouraging to look at a price chart and see it moving in the opposite direction than the direction you believe it should be heading and you keep questioning yourself but at least with Bitshares, once you dig into the history you can see that their is an underlying reason why it has had so much pressure and i am quite excited about the changes in November. I might even throw a little Bitshares party or maybe a special Beyond Bitcoin hangout; it is defiantly huge change and should be celebrated :)
There is no sure thing but if you have experienced the tech and used the platform i can feel pretty confident that you will agree that it is next gen platform which is greatly underappreciated by the space.
About "the account 'enter' has been registering a lot of 3 character user accounts ", this may disappoint you, because there won't be new project here. This guy is merely speculating IDs and Assets, and expect to sell them at higher price in future.
Thanks for the comment @jademont i have noticed another account that is registering names and based on speculation i would suggest he will look to sell them in the future given they are names of companies and the like. 'Enter' recently has been registering names with seemingly little value for example the most recent batch is vq0,vq1,vq2 ..... vq9 this is what made ne think they they are more so related ro a greater plan as i feel the resale value on such names would be low. And if that was his objective then more popular names should be targeted first. I will keep an eye on him ;)
Great post @steempower, informative and insightfull as always!
Thanks for the comment @cynetyc appreciate the kind regards glad yoy like the reports :)
I like how the trend line breakout is holding in bitshares.
Me too :)
also like the fib level we are in at the moment and the VP point of control, also encouraging is OBV has not dropped relative to price action. add them with the hidden fundamentals, changes to economics and awesome tech and i think the future looks a lot brighter and happy to be along for the ride
I just saw the info about BlockPay and my reaction was...WOW!
With their POS app any merchant could accept the main digital currencies including STEEM.
Great post overall about the state of the network.
In 1789, a Scottish scientist and engineer James Watt first applied the term "horsepower" to show the work of how many horses are able to replace them invented steam engines. @siams
Thanks for the info @steempower
