Shadow Photo Contest-Round 61- figurines/action figure Shadows : My Entry

Hello Steemians,

I am joining the Shado Photo Contest by @melinda010100. I am not sure if I had joined before but this week's theme is quite easier for me to create because I have some toys and action figures lying around the house. I had kept them away for long because they had been collecting dust. Now that I saw melinda's contest I immediately thought about them and pulled out just the tiny ones like these two cute birds on the photo.

Decision

Two little birds were spotted by another bird from afar. Their shadows tell that they are in for some serious talk. One figure belongs to an owl and the other to a sparrow.

The owl is set to migrating to another place because the food supply is getting scarce by the minute. Other predators are slowly creeping in making the competition for food more fierce. The owl had finally made its decision to leave and say goodbye to his girlfriend, the sparrow. No amount of convincing would change the mind of the owl not even his girlfriend can influence him after that long serious talk on the fire exit of an abandoned building.

The sparrow cried and begged for the owl to stay. She gave some alternative solutions to the issue like convincing the owl to change his diet and consider eating corn or grain. The owl is very hard headed and turned his back. He slowly walked away from his girlfriend. He could not afford to look back because he knows he will cry too and may give in. He faced a solid wall in front of him the decision is final.

I love how the photos turned out and made me write this little short story because of the narrative the photos are telling me. This has been a great and fun experience. Thank you to melinda for this beautiful contest. Hope you guys will join too.
