Steem Monsters $1000 Gam Jam Invitational!

Submissions open from Saturday August 25th at 7:00 AM to August 30th at 5:00 PM
Steem Monsters Game Jam!!!
A Game Jam is where developers have a short period of time to work alone or in teams. In this case, the goal is to build a Steem Monsters themed game. It could be a rip of Candy Crush. It could be a rip of Poker. It could be a rip of Final Fantasy tactics or even something like a Steem Monsters Tetris. RPGs like Final Fantasy IV or Ultima I are old school awesome too!
The idea is to take a week and make a fun game or novellas. Any platform works- game maker, godot, unity, unreal, rpgmaker... whatever.
Whatever game looks prettiest, sticks with the monster theme, and is the most fun to play will win first place!
Winner will receive a Gold Foil Legendary card currently worth around $700-800.
Second and Third place will receive $200 in crypto and $100 in crypto respectively.
This is great for the Steem Ecosystem. If we can get a ton of games and gamers on the platform then we can start getting a gaming economy on the block! That would be fantastic for the price of Steem if everyone and their guildmates came over to this platform to play their favorite games, earn loot, and trade it for real value in Steem!

Just found out about steem monsters. Looks interesting. But why do we need to give away our private posting key :/ ? Still hesitating to sign up. I know my account doesn't worth anything, but i still don't want anything to go wrong with my account. Still in doubt...
Well, i did end up making an account. Huge fan of card games and the concept look damn interesting. Went through the mechanism post and was actually really good. Now time to buy some packs :) !
The game uses steemconnect, your privare posting key isnt revealed since it never leaves your browser. Without the ability to post memos, you cant interact with the game.
