A year after Microsoft unveiled Project Scorpio or the Scorpion Project, a new Xbox platform that can run games with 4-in-1 resolution to support virtual reality, the company has released details of its officially-branded Xbox OneX platform.
So far we know that Microsoft will launch the new platform on November 7, 2017 for $ 499.

The Xbox 4x has a 4.5-fold power over the Xbox One platform, the company says. The new platform can run games at 4-by-60 frames per second, compared to the current Xbox One platform, which is still struggling to run the 1920x1080 full-resolution games.
The new platform will be equipped with an eight-gigahertz processor, and the AMD graphics card will have 40 computer units with a speed of 1172 MHz and 12 gigabytes of DDR3 memory at 6.8 GHz. The computing power of the card is six teraflops compared with 1.33 teraflops for the Xbox One platform, The hard drive is 1TB, with 4KHz Blu-ray drive.
To play the 4K game on the new platform, the games must be designed to take advantage of this high resolution. Microsoft says it will not force developers to do so, but has vowed that all new games will be released from its 4K internal studios.
In addition, some older games will appear better when they run on the new platform such as games "Halo 5" and "The Witch 3" and "The Devine" and "Doom" and will download the games faster than before, where the company says the processor is faster by 31% and the hard drive is also faster compared to the current platform.
