Hacking of governments websites in Ohio by loyalists of the Islamic State Organization
A number of government sites in Ohio have been pirated by loyalists of the so-called Islamic State Organization.
Among the pirated sites is the site of state governor John Cassic.
The extremist organization's letter said that President Donald Trump would be held accountable for "every drop of blood flowing in Islamic countries" and ended the message saying "I love the Islamic state."
The piracy was carried out by a group calling itself "Team System De Zee".
The state governor's site was under maintenance on Sunday before resuming his work.
The attack included a symbol in Arabic and was mainly written in black and white, the same color as the Islamic state's flag.
The attack on the governor's site also included ears.
"Trump, you and all your people will be held accountable for every drop of blood you ask in Muslim countries," the letter said.
"As soon as we are notified of the situation, we immediately begin to correct it, and we will continue to monitor it until the problem is fully resolved," said a statement from the spokeswoman for the governor of the state, Emali Kalmakh.
These include the Ohio Health Transformation Office and the Ohio Medical Administration (Medicaid). But resumed their activities later.
