in #news7 years ago

The 22-year-old British boy who was "accidentally" caught up with the spread of the virus, but who has caused 200,000 deaths in 150 countries.

According to the British Telegraph, the young man - an information security expert named Marcus Hutchins - was in his small bedroom in his parents' home when he prevented the spread of the virus in the world by activating the "kill key" by accident.

The young man needed a few hours to stop the already widespread outbreak around the world, causing widespread damage, including the British National Health System, Renault Motor Company, the Russian Ministry of the Interior, Spanish Telefonica, FedEx International Express and many others.

Hutchins did not study at the university and says he gave up university education in exchange for teaching himself complex hacking techniques. He is nicknamed Malware Tech or a malware expert and is believed to be living in a popular resort on the coast of North Devon, England, the medical industries also has a small brother.

His accounts at the sites are full of tweets about his love of surfing and the sight of her along the beach. "I might move to a city, but where in the city would I get such a view?"

Hutchins' photos began to appear, some at his own home-built information technology, full of pizza pies, video games and computer servers, while other photos appeared with his friends in Las Vegas as part of a trip to the DevCon, the world's largest annual gathering of hackers.

Curtis Baron, founder of Vidus Information Security, who traveled with Hutchins to Las Vegas last year, said his friend was "doing his job when he stopped the attack."

He told Telegraph that he had known Hutchins for a long time and was "a really good friend and a colleague too." "If we can make it work for us, we will give him a central job, but he does not want to move," he said. "It's not a job for him, but a passion for paying him."

Andrew Mabit, the other founder of Vedus, describes him as "one of the most talented and intelligent people" and said he was "paid to do what he sees as a life dream for most people."

Hero of coincidence:
The young man remained in hiding until last Saturday when his star emerged as a "hero of chance" who saved the world from a massive cyber-attack. And in a blog describing how he stopped the spread of the virus.

Hutchins discovered that when a new computer is infected, the virus communicates with a remote Web address, and when it does not receive a positive response (the address is not accessible), the virus starts encrypting the files. If there is a response, the virus ends itself. And suspends its activities. A function likely that virus makers have put in place to safeguard against failure if they have lost control of their malicious program.

After finding the reference of this domain (web address) in the code of the encoder, the young man confirmed that he was unregistered and bought and recorded it at eight pounds (ten dollars), which led to the temporary halt of the attack.

Over the remainder of the day, this domain has been written tens of thousands of times (5,000 times per second), saving tens of thousands of computers from being infected.
