Don't Panic Sell Bitcoin!

This is my reaction to the price fluctuation of BTC and all the Alt Coins

There's been a lot of speculation lately. Is Bitcoin going to split? Will the price drop below $2K? Will the price topple $4K by end of the year? Will the Alt coins valuations drop?

As we approach the end of July, there is a lot of speculation that may causes people to panic sell. If those opportunities present themselves, I wouldn't mind jumping in and buying some more BTC for a discount. Personally, I believe Bitcoin and alt coins are a good long-term hold as they become more popular. In addition, there will only ever be 21,000,000 tokens, meaning that it may stay consistently valuable or increase in value relative to other types of currency which can be printed endlessly. Other reasons that the asset seems like a good investment include its growing popularity, network effects, security, immutability and status as the first ever in a growing world of digital currencies.

BIP 91 has officially locked in.

At press time, bitcoin's miners, the network of computer operators that secure the blockchain, have now been signaling that they will upgrade the code for 269 blocks in the same signaling period, a move that takes the software one step closer to changing its structure to accommodate more transactions. Stepping back, the move finds miners agreeing to cement the first part of a larger effort to upgrade bitcoin, called Segwit2x.
