Connor McGregor Vs. Floyd Mayweather
I watched a documentary on Connor McGregor yesterday and I saw how he one his first UFC fight in Vegas having torn his knee ligaments in the second round.. I know exactly how excruciating that is and how its virtually impossible to stand up straight let alone go another round of combat..
This guy is an incredible fighter and warrior and now having watched more of his fights I seriously think he has an excellent chance to beat Floyd Mayweather... I think the pressure up close that McGregor will enforce will take Mayweather by surprise..
Going to be an epic spectacle for sure and I am going to give McGregor the thumbs up for a shock victory

Its going to be interesting
This fight could go both ways. It might end up just being a love fest for the money and neither does any damage and both complain about how the other wouldn't fight. Both are getting old and should retire after this fight. Mayweather isn't a fun fighter to watch in my opinion unless he doesn't rope a dope.
But far too often he is just all defense and quick flails of intensity to get the crowd cheering. He aggravates his opponent into making a mistake and then counters a lot. This fighting style just bores me no matter who the fighter.I like action and an even fight where one guy finally knocks out the other guy and both are exhausted from beating each other for 15 rounds. The good Ole Days!
The styles of both fighters will make this a really boring fight. Mayweather is a defensive counter puncher and McGregor is also a counter puncher. Who is going to press the action? I wouldnt buy this fight if it was $5.99 on PPV. After all, you can watch it a week later for FREE on Showtime.
It's a tough call as the fighters involved are both amazing. I'm excited to see how this plays out.
I guarantee a rematch is already in planning even though the fight hasn't happened yet. The question is what fighter needs to lose to make the rematch look better?
Mayweather is heavily favored in this fight because it is a boxing match. If the fight was in the Octagon, McGregor would whip Mayweather's ass. So maybe if a rematch is planned, McGregor would lose this fight and the rematch would be in the Octagon. Why only have one fight when the promoters can squeeze out a cash cow as big as this more than once?
I do hope it's an entertaining fight without an anti-climactic ending like McGregor getting frustrated and finally kicks Mayweather and he loses by disqualification.
Considering the limits that are put on McGregor, I am not sure how epic the fight will be (definitely won't drop the money to see it). As much as I am not a fan of Mayweather, I think his is going to win and quite easily.
Too bad the two can't have an MMA fight especially with all the garbage Mayweather talks.
