Saturn
Hello Steemians!
In today's episode I'm taking a look into Saturn, the sixth planet from the Sun.

Cassini in July 2008, approaching equinox
Saturn comes next after Jupiter, not only in distance but also as the second-largest planet in our Solar System.
Saturn was named after the Roman god of agriculture.

It has a diameter of 120,500 km and a mass roughly 95 times the one of Earth.
It is believed that Saturn's internal structure is similar to the one of Jupiter, with a small rocky core that is surrounded by hydrogen and helium.
The atmosphere is made mostly out of molecular hydrogen which accounts for over 95% and helium with over 3% volume and the temperature is around −185 °C.

Saturn has 62 moons with the largest one Titan which accounts for about 90% of the mass that orbits Saturn
Apart from moons, Saturn is gifted with planetary rings, which make it a visually unique planet in our Solar System.
Fun fact, the rings are best visible while Saturn eclipses the Sun, and it looks amazing!

The full set of rings, imaged as Saturn eclipsed the Sun from the vantage of the Cassini orbiter, on 19 July 2013
Hope you enjoyed this episode with the beautiful planet Saturn!
Merry Christmas to everyone!
All the best wishes!
