#Blog-29: Be careful about Bandwidth of steemit
Be Careful about Bandwidth on steemit
When we login in our steemit account, we are not able to see our remaining bandwidth.
bandwidth is actually a type of memory. With more bandwidth one can post more
(use steemit more). Most of the user of steemit have no idea about bandwidth,
because in the main website (steemit.com) there is no way to check remaining
bandwidth. There is a question that why bandwidth decreases. This questions has
no specific answer. It actually depends on steem power, reputation and many
other things. But there are some basic rules to stop decreases of bandwidth at a
high rate. I am not guaranteeing that this is the actual reasons. But as my research
on steemit, I found some reasons.
What to do or what not?
- Do not post more than once at a day. If you post more than once, you may loss
somebandwidth. But i am not sure about it. - Do not edit your article or post. If you do that , you may loss some bandwidth.
This point is important for you. When you are about to post something, before
posting it check it 2 or 3 times, if it needs. But when your post is submitted do not
edit it. - Do not comment on others post, if it is not needed. Basically when a user posts
anything, we do some comment like- nice, upvote me, follow me. Actually you are
not commenting , you are wasting some of your bandwidth. So be careful about
it. - To increase your bandwidth try to post or write article every day. Because after
a slot of time steemit will give you some bandwidth. So on that slot, if you have
no post, than you are unable to receive that bandwidth.
