Some biggest misconception about life
Please, dear God, tell me you really don't believe these imprisoning misconceptions about life.

Being a human is tough.
We live with this complex that we know everything. We put ourselves above nature at times knowing we have the gift of consciousness.
We feel superior to other life forms.
We often feel that we are the center of the universe.
We can dig in so deeply with our opinions that we often trick ourselves into believing our perspectives as the truth.
Life is a struggle by definition. We all live with our own obstacles and battles and trials. Just when we think we are free from our struggle, we find ourselves at the gates of a new demon standing in our way.
It's tough to look to answers on life and fully adopt their credibility. It seems we can a adhere to one claim only to have that negated at a moment's notice.
Below I have listed my biggest misconceptions on life. Some may be received with open arms and others may be highly contested.
The misconception that hard work will breed success.
Let's be real, just because you put in the hard work doesn't mean you are going to reap all the successes of the world and become rich.
Sometimes it takes luck.
Sometimes the market isn't asking for it.
Sometimes you aren't doing the right work.
If you aren't working with deliberate practice chances are you aren't going to make exponential progress towards your goal. You need to be deliberate in your approach.
Imagine you are working on becoming the best violinist in the world. You practice for 10 hours a day, 7 days a week. What is your direction however? What are you practicing? Are you focusing on the perfect pitch? Do you have a mentor to challenge you? Are you putting yourself in front of critical audiences?
Hard work alone will not solely bring you to the promised land.
The misconception that I am wrong for not believing in “your” religion.
Our lives are bigger than religion.
At least that's what I truly believe. I'm not saying to forfeit religion all together. If you adhere to a certain belief structure and it brings you solace in life, kudos.
However I think we need to bring some sense of gravity to the matter. The Earth has been around for roughly 4.3 billion years. Eukaryotic life (single cellular organisms) came about roughly 2 billion years ago. Fast forward to the first mammals being present around 2 million years ago. Further, the first homo sapiens (the species most resembling modern man) came about 250,000 years ago.
The Earth and the cosmos I think are too grand for us to consider ourselves the reason for its existence. Religion is but an answer for the confusions of life. I stand firm that they aren't inherently right in their search for the truth.
Life is too beautiful for hate. People hate one another too much for believing in the "wrong” God or wrong religion.
You're not wrong. You're a human. That's enough. Spread love and consciousness.
The misconception that money doesn't buy happiness.
Happiness is all internal- sure.
Money does help elevate you to a place of freedom and freedom is happiness.
With out it, what kind of power do you have in the world?
I'm not talking about ruthless, selfish, dominating power. I'm talking about power that builds confidence. Power that builds self-esteem. Power that builds self-respect.
You are a force to be reckoned with. You are not able to do that if you are a slave to the man. If you are relying on every pay check to make ends meet, it can be hard to establish your power. I understand that everyone has their responsibilities in life and some of us were pre-dispositioned with more.
That being said. There comes a certain point where money and the potential freedom with it can yield you a certain layer of happiness.
The misconception that obedience is a virtue.
I grew up as an obedient child.
I always did what I was told.
I lived a happy life in my youth, however I didn't make much of a stir. I was told to obey and told I have a place in life.
I now believe that mindset to be utter crap.
This mindset is only a way to keep you from causing a ruckus and furthering your life as a sheep.
Break the rules.
Cause a stir.
Tell someone off.
Be the light people are looking for.
You only get one go-around on this Earth. You only get one life. Actualize your full potential and be the Shepard the people are looking for. The only thing you have is time and your word. Make the best of both of these tools.

Very well said. Everything in this life needs to be questioned but also taken with a humble approach that other people might know something you don't and that we all, in the end, might not know it all and that having that mystery and hope for the magical can sometimes be a beautiful thing. I think moderation is key with everything - money, religion, obedience - everything is good in equalizing amounts and it is that golden middle ground is what is hardest to find, yet it's being patient and compassionate throughout the search is what can help with finding happiness in life. Don't believe everything you hear you were told to believe but also be open-minded about things people share. But that's just my ramble, I quite enjoyed your take on things! You take a stand and that's worth a whole lot. Cheers!
