Miles below the surface, there was no escaping the stench of man. The air permeated with fumes and endlessly recycled. The dust from ages of rust seep into the pores of every surface. The blessed have never seen such a place, the unfortunate are mired in it.

Thanks! I drew the first image first then that gave me idea for the second one :) I figure the underground is very “vertical” so wanted to sort of push those perspectives. Appreciate the feedback!
