It would make sense that the hair would be similar tones in the sky as the highlights would be reflecting the available lighting which would be the sunset. So in my opinion it works

Yeah, maybe either darkening his hair a bit or adding some kind of highlighted sections to it would help separate it a bit more from the sky backdrop, but it doesn't blend in with it or anything where it's hard to see. I think the colors look pretty good overall, man.

Maybe some blond highlights in the hair to make it standout more? Same color as the center of the goggles.
And a touch in the beard.
Think that is what I would end up doing just to break it up a bit so we have similar taste :)

Yea the story changed a lot since start but that was sort of original idea.
Actually I think the hair colour is fine. Is he a pilot of some sort?
