Lucky 'Dinner' at Jump

A few months ago, I shared my Summerlicious experience on Steemit. Every year, Toronto would host two major food events called Summerlicious and Winterlicious. Restaurants who participate would offer pre-set menu, at a reasonable price, for its patrons. As mentioned in the article, I went to this restaurant called Jump, in downtown Toronto, and I had a fablulous time with my girlfriends. Not only that, I later posted a drawing and a photo of my meal on Instagram as part of a photo contest hosted by the restaurant. And, guess what, I won a $100 gift certificate from that contest.

Recently, my husband and I had a chance to make good use of the gift certificate and to re-visit this restaurant. This time, we also took a friend with us. Again, the food was excellent!

My husband and our friend both ordered a steak, which is a signature at this restaurant. I saw how they cut through the steak like cutting tofu. Seriously, that tells you how tender that steak was!

I, on the other hand, was craving duck and so I ordered their Asian Inspired Molasses-brined Duck Breast with bean sprouts, micro greens, fried wild rice and ginger scallion sauce. We also had a cheese cake as dessert.

Again, we had a fantastic time. The food was great, the ambiance was cozy, and the company was marvellous. Hope we will get to visit the restaurant again soon and I think I already know what I am going to order (hint hint - their steak is to die for, lol).
