You can't bathe in the same river twice , Heraklaitos

"You can't bathe in the same river twice" , We know Herakleitos with this wise words, however the Greek philosopher has a different solid world view that deserves more recognition than this.

Heraklaitos

the ancient Greek philosopher herakleitos who has argued the fact that it forms as a qualitative change against the static and immutable existence of Parmenides. In terms of information he has been always the real advocate of rationalism and he didn't value the empirical or emotional wisdom and he said that eyes and ears are the bad witnesses in order to get true knowledge. He said that knowing a lot of things won't make a person smart , therefore he never gave value Encyclopedia level information.

the most important thesis of Heracleitos in metaphysics was conflict and war were the father of everything. According to him, the battle of the opponents is the single and most important condition of existence or formation. because if it were not for the war, nothing would exist. therefore, the arrival of the beings into the birth or existence depends on the opposition of the opposing ones, which oppose each other and thus keep each other in existence.

The second Thesis of Herakleitos'es about the existance is the unity of everything , Similar to Ionic philosophers and thinkers he said that the material substance in everything in the world is born of itself.

Heraklaitos was a monophonic philosopher , as well as a multitude philosopher , him to be a philosopher of multitude was that he had made the formation to the forefront according to herakleitos, there can be no being or being without multiplicity or opposition. he was saying that he was based on the unity of the multitude. therefore, there can be no unity without multiplicity, without multiplicity without unity. the universe, at the same time both one and many; this is expressed as being formed.

in Herakleitos way of thinking, which expresses the process of transition and formation of multitude from the universe to fire, and hence to flow, this has given rise to the third basic thesis of his being: the continual flow of things, everything flowing, the most important truth about the universe. according to him, there was no permanence and stasis in the face; everything was alive, burning, demolishing.

Herakleitos suggested that the philosophers who were before him were looking for permanence and continuity however it was quite nonsense for him, whereas there was no persistence at the scene, and that an absolute change was the point. according to Herakleitos, which states that we can not enter the same river twice as the river flows, there is no object in the stage, no features of the objects, so keep it unchanged. everything comes to existence through the destruction and death of another thing, and then disappears. there is a constant state of conflict and war between all the things in the universe, and the only thing that does not change is the cosmic balance state that is the result of this change.

Hey Bro, first time at your blog. Good stuff right here. “He said that knowing a lot of things won't make a person smart , therefore he never gave value Encyclopedia level information.
IME, practicing self inquiry meditation for the last 8 years and questioning the long held beliefs about “myself” has proven more useful than knowing anything. In fact, it was the “unknowing” of things that has helped me reach a state of peace/serenity. Great post.
