GENESIS MINING WEEK 8 DASH X11 STATS - %23 ROI And A %23 Price Increase :)
Hello Fellow Steemians,
Last week's DASH price is $286 with a difficulty of 1069k, The current DASH price is $353 with a difficulty of 969k.
A total decrease of 1069k/969k=%-10.3 in difficulty and a total increase of $353/$286=%23.4 in price !!!
So far my total investment was $58.1 at the time of purchasing the contract the equivalent of 0.317 DASH and i got 0.03868402/0.317 DASH which is %12.2 of my investment, meaning that with the current DASH price of $353 i made 0.03868402*$353=$13.65/$58.1=%23.5 :)
You might be wondering why i'm keeping track in both DASH and USD it's because to find out (after the ROI) wether it was better to hold or mine DASH with a %29 average monthly difficulty increase (calculated that in the first post) since i'm not going to sell until DASH hits $327 :)

good post. I am also mining with GM. They are decent, though they have had their share of problems lately. Anyways, why did the difficulty go down in DASH? Normally with price increases like this you would see more people mining it and thus increased difficulty,
I Think The Fact That A Significant Price Increase And A Significant Difficulty Decrease Has Something To Do With The X11 Algorithm DASH Is Using :)

Nice article. I agree with tracking ROI in both crypto and USD; in my view, if the alternative use of the investment money was holding the same crypto, the "economic profit" is really the crypto received by end of contract vs. amount that could have purchased with the same money. I just wrote about this for my cloud mining of Btc.
That's Exactly The Point Behind It And Currently Holding DASH Would Have Been Much Profitable Than Mining :)
