KEEPING PROMISES special edition of MONTH OF GIVING.. DAY2
WHAT WAS THE PROMISE.
Before my account @steem4depoor was hacked I met this young woman with twins on the street begging for money during what I call STEEM4DEPOOR SPECIAL DAY OUT. After an interview I realized that she has no hope that was why she kept begging and given the opportunity she can start something because she was a seamstress or tailor but she had no machine that was why she resorted to begging on the streets and doing menial jobs just to feed the kids. Honestly my heart burned learning this and I was so poised to change this. Unfortunately before I could cash out to help her my account got hacked. I received massive support from others notably @ackza @surfyogi @guiltyparties @inquiringtimes @stellabelle and other amazing steemians across the globe.
This was the two months post I made.

MEETING AGAIN WITH @jullilove
This week as we went to the streets again we met her at the same spot with the children and I was soo sad because a special promise to buy her the machine to start something failed and all I could do was give them something small. I got into conversation with her again and we took her and the children to a five star restaurant bought some pastries and made our decision to by her the machine worth $100 (including some tools) tomorrow.
SPREADING THE LOVE
THE MACHINE WE WANT TO BUY TO EMPOWER HER LIFE.
She is a trained seamstress with no machine so we will buy her one so that she can start something and stop begging on the streets.Our hope is that it will keep her of the street with the children and we will visit her frequently to check how she is with her new job. There are countless of her kind on the streets and honestly if we all want to depend solely on the government everyday then Poverty will continue to spread even deeper. The greatest platform (steemit) is now available to us to transform lives let change lives around us.
