The Firefly 2 is a well-designed stylish vaporizer that come with several features. It has a price tag of $329.95 USD and comes in six different colors. This small device is great for vaporizing both dry herbs and concentrates using the multiple heat settings to choose from. It is also good for on the move sessions and it has a long lasting battery. Importantly, it is a very discrete vaporizer to use.
The Firefly 2 is the latest version of the original Firefly vaporizer. This newcomer is now taking the vape market by storm. The Firefly 2 is a convection vaporizer and is fantastic for using when on the move. It has a on demand heat system allowing you to have quick sessions without wasting your herbs.

Firefly 2 Heating System

The Firefly 2 has a fifty watt heater and a borosilicate glass bowl. The glass bowl helps to allow for the full flavors of the herbs to be given. There are a total of six heat settings, five herb settings: 340, 360, 380, 400 and 420 Fahrenheit. There is only one setting for concentrates: 500 Fahrenheit. The vaporizer can reach 400 in 3 seconds and 420 in 5 seconds.

Size and Portability

The Firefly 2 is 33% smaller than the original Firefly and it is 55% lighter. This reduction in weight is due to a change from stainless steel to a magnesium alloy body.

Discreteness

Although the Firefly 2 is not the most discrete vaproizer available on the market. However, due to its small size, fast heating times as well as the fast that it does not give off much smell, I would feel comfortable using this vaporizer in public.

Accessories and applications

The vaproizer comes with a cleaning kit made up of two sword tools, a multi-sided brush and isopropyl wipes. It also comes with two swappable batteries. You also get a USB charging dock and concentrate pads in the package.
The vaporizer is supported with an Apple and Android Bluetooth connection application. There is also an option to check the battery levels of your vaporizer.

Keep Up

One of my favourite features of the The Firefly 2 is its low cleaning and maintenance requirements. You can easily clean is after several long sessions without having an effect on its performance or life. However, there may be build ups of residue on the window. There is no screen used in the bowl. To clean the vaporizer, you simply use the isopropyl wipe that comes with the Firefly 2 followed by a wipe with the body and the lid. The cleaning process is very quick with this vaprizor and cleaning takes less than a minute.

Battery

One of the best improvements from the original Firefly is the increased battery life you get from the Firefly 2. The original model was well known for having a short battery life as well as a fast battery degradation. Generally, when using the Firefly 2 you can smoke six bowls of dry herb. The battery life is less when smoking concentrates as the Firefly 2 is on its highest heat setting. Even so, the battery life when smoking concentrates is better than the battery life of the original Firefly. The batteries only take 50 minutes to charge and you get two batteries. When one dies you can quickly change it with your other one.

Verdict

I really like the Firefly 2. I have several other vaporizers such as a Arizer Solo and Magic Flight Launch Box but the Firefly 2 is by far my favourite. It has a stylish design and it gives you outstanding flavour and a cool vape. It is a very easy vaporizer to use and you will quickly get comfortable with using it. Vapers of both dry herbs and concentrates will enjoy this vaporizer. Additionally, it requires very little maintenance.
The Firefly 2 is a great improvement on the original Firefly. Every vaper should have it in their smoking arsenal.
