Fortnite's 5th Season: What players think of the upcoming theme.

Fortnite's 5th Season starts on July 12th, 4 a.m. ET (That's 12 hours away from the moment I'm writing this) and everyone is excited about it, theories are going back and forth and the general consensus is that the theme revolves around time-travel.

Data miners have found Wild West themed assets and on Playground mode's trailer different scenes from different time periods are shown, also items for different time periods have popped up in-game. Besides, the rifts tht have been appearing for a while have evolved into a full on Marketing strategy in which items from the game have started to disappear from it and appear in the real world, yes, our world. In the site of these appereances "agents" investigte the "anomalies" and lay out signs warning people about something that seems to be a breach in reality, or an overlapping of both the game's and our reality, which in my opinion, works out as an incredible way to further boost the game's virality and popularity.

So Fortnite and its players are gearing up for this new season and if you want to become prt of it, you can play Fortnite for free or aquire a Battle Pass on their official site.

Code Vein delayed until 2019

After showing several teasers for characters in-game, Bandai Namco announced that they would be delaying the game's release until sometime next year. This, according to Eric Hartness, the Vice President of Marketing of Bandai Namco, is to further refine gameplay based on the feedback on demos at the expos they attended to.

The release was planned for September this year, however we will have to wait an undefined amount of time, since no definitive date was announced. Code Vein was revealed back in 2017 and we have had frequent updates on it ever since, let's hope the updates continue to come in as the game is finished.

Overwatch's Pink Mercy skin raises 13 Million USD for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation

From May 8th through May 21st, an exclusive Mercy skin was sold on the Overwatch store specifically to raise money for the BCRF. The skin was only obtainable through purchase and not loot boxes and cost 15 USD. Along with the skin, shirts with artwork by the talented Vickisigh were sold and special Twitch streaming events were held.

In total, the donation reached over 12.7 Million USD on sales alone plus 130.000 USD via streaming events, making it the largest donation by a company within a year. In celebration, a fan artwork showcase was made by Blizzard thanking everyone who took part in the event.

Far Cry 5's Lost on Mars DLC has a release date.

Ubisoft announced the release date for the latest Far Cry 5 DLC: Lost on Mars, and the date is July 17th, just around the corner. The DLC will cost 9.99 USD and it will be the second largest content update to date. You will also be able to obtain it as part of the Season Pass.

Apart from the DLC, Mars themed items will be featured on the rest of the game and will be available for use on every map, previously created or new. The DLC will feature new weapons as well as a new tool: The Space Jets. The Season Pass includes Lost on Mars and previously released DLCs: Dead Living Zombies and Hours of Darkness, previously released.

Kill La Kill is being adapted into a game.

Arc System Works, the studio behind Dragon Ball FighterZ is developing a Kill La Kill Arena-style game called Kill La Kill the Game: IF, for Playstation 4 and Windows PC via Steam next year. The trailer was presented at the Anime Expo this week and the developers promise to explore Kill La Kill's story further under the guidance of Trigger, the Studio of the anime.

On Evo 2018, the game will be playable for the first time. Evo 2018 will take place in Las Vegas from August 3rd to 5th.

Rocket League joins XBox Game pass.

Rocket League's director Scott Rudi announced that Rocket League will join Fallout 4 and TESV: Skyrim on the service, adding that its users will have discounts on the game. Rocket League is already preparing to introduce their Rocket pass, much like games like Fortnite and PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds and the pass will be released later this year.
