The Wedding Procession - Band , Baaja & Baraat.
After the engagement ceremony, where the bridgegroom family visited the groom's house and do some rituals alongwith a mass fooding for family and relatives of both side. It's now time of Groom to take their procession to bridgegroom home to complete the wedding rituals. Yes it's the wedding night where the Groom's family and relatives visit the Girls places alongwith Band, Baja & Baraat.
That is the special vehicle decorated for the Groom. Designed with Flowers and Ribbon, it's spell fragrances too due to so many Lilly & Rose flower on it. This is the main attraction of the wedding procession as everyone like to peep inside to have a look of the Groom. The vehicle is well covered up from all side with
Band the decorative lighting alongside the Car.
Baaja Live DJ's playing all side and on the road.
Baraat the relatives and family member who walk along dancing all way to the Girls places.
The atmosphere of the baraat is such that it automatically pull everyone to dances on the tunes of the music's. While the Groom remain inside the vehicle, his Family , Freind's and relatives keep dancing all through the Bride's destination in full honour. And take my words it is quite noisy in all that procession.
Very colourful and elegance everyone is well dressed to visit the bride place and do the wedding formality and it also again include mass fooding for all and this time is by the Bride's side.
The procession is incomplete without fire crackers. All through the route there were many crackers shot. And sky keep dazzling with the lights and sound, and on ground too
As we get closer to the Bride's places, the excitement, the beats and the crackers keeps increasing. At the Bride's doorstep, we get warm welcome first, with some nice smoothie and snacks and thereafter the gathering of parents from both sides with hugs and garlands. The places is gets more chaotic and noisy during all these time.
It's becomes a wild party night for all where everyone enjoyed publically. After the grand welcome the Groom and Bride will exchange the wedding garlands and there after began the long procession of wedding rituals which will go throughout the night.
I fallen short of phone battery, which stopped me from.clicking further marriage procession. Well it was a overnight rituals, and include many customary function from both sides. That includes sharing, clothing jewellery and cosmetics for the bride and then after completing all formality bringing her back to Groom's place.
Finally the wedding which has 3 day rituals completed on a high note with so many things happen during the course. Really a fantastic time for all, where everyone enjoyed, be it kids be it older. It's a good time in India for a perfect family get together.
That's why, Indian wedding has a complete packages that includes, Fun, Enjoyment, Style and Elegance to make it a memorable moments for the wedding couple. Happy Married Life

Colorful, wild and chaotic - this is how I picture an Indian wedding and this is how you showed it on your photos :) It looks like a lot of fun and traditions. I do love traditions! 3 days sounds like a proper wedding :) It was the same in the past here but now it's only one day and night. I think it's because it became too expensive to celebrate longer...
Oh, and I wouldn't like to be the one who would be supposed to put down the decorations from the car lol :)
Thank you for sharing and have a lovely Sunday!

Wow - such complexity of ritual. The optimistic, curious traveler in me is delighted and enjoys all the little details, symbols and rituals. The contemporary woman in me asks "Really? We still go through all this publicly so a man can be seen to buy and own his sexual partner?" Haha - clearly, having been married 3 times I am conflicted about much of it. And yet optimistic enough to have gone there 3 times. Love the cultural insights - more please. :)
