Taking a break from my daily shitpost...
To say the fact the site is being flooded with spam and spammy comments has to do with everyone understanding that nobody is reading this anyway. People have their voting bots setup, their comment bots running, and many of you are voting for things you have never read, they are not the best things.
It is a spammy site with spammy content because nobody values the content.
Bots are not bad, but bad bots are bad.
It was funny today to watch a witness who just quit his job say he didn't want to have to read the stuff on the site that is supporting him.
That is all, tomorrow back to my regularly scheduled shit post go check out the trending page, and don't forget to give the various steem police groups some more votes, for keeping the site so clean.

I've followed you. Shit posts is where it is at.
I read what you wrote. The better contents rise to the top. Competition drives innovation and it drives traffic. Yes, more bad things come to places like this, but that is what we want because more good things will come as well.

I am not concerned with my rewards. My posts make exactly what they deserve. They are shit posts. I am talking about shitty content everywhere. Very few comments made by real people with a real reputation.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, some might say. Capitalism and supply and demand works that way. You can always cry. You can complain. You can say it is not fair when a dumb post makes more money than a great post. But that is what happens. The will of the people is exercised through the vote and through many things and better content rises over time. But terrible posts that might not deserve to earn a lot of money will continue to earn a lot of money and I would not want it any other way. It is better that way.
