Yesterday I made a post sharing which accounts and witnesses are voting for @jerrybanfield as Witness.
Many in the community found Jerry's post about sucking his dick unsettling to disgusting. In addition, some were concerned about the idea he is promoting Steem with the same mouth he uses to suck his dick!
Thank you to those who saw this isn't a good way to promote Steem and removed their witness votes.
I don't care if he wants to make videos about his disturbing sexual past I'm for Free Speech. I don't want him to represent Steem and vote those videos to the top of our Trending page. I would suggest it says a lot about his stability and judgement.

I remember quite a long post Jerry did awhile back about some of the things he had done in the past, most while on drugs, before he met his wife and had children. The topic you are talking about wasn't discussed in that post, most of what he talked about was coming out with the things you've kept buried because it helps to heal from those experiences. I listened to most of the audio version of his confession and while I've never heard a man discuss such a topic or admit to doing such a thing it came across a healing process for him. He admits his alcoholism, his drug addiction in his prior post, if that gave him more strength to stay on the straight and narrow and as disgusting as his current confession is if talking about it keeps him from back sliding into those addictive patterns I say that is a good thing, once he starts one addictive pattern back up it would seem easy to go back to the others. He is not only holding himself accountable but he has made it so others hold him accountable, he would no longer be able to stand up and claim sobriety to his addictions, if he can maintain the sobriety to his addictions, be so open and honest with himself and others he actually leads the way to helping others face their most embarrassing moments of addiction. There may be more hidden inside him, there may be more things he hasn't felt comfortable sharing or it could be, as some professionals have expressed, buried deep inside his psyche, a subconscious level that hasn't surfaced, hidden deep down inside, I say this because I wonder what it really took for a young kid to start such a behavioral pattern to begin with. I admit those are just my thoughts, those thoughts are very concerning to me, he, and like many, many other people suffering from repression of memories and/or recovery from addictions don't need to be chastised by coming out in order to heal themselves they need the support of everyone so they can live a healthier life. It's extremely important to remember that what Jerry was doing gave him pleasure, that doesn't hold true for a lot of sexual abuse survivors, mostly women who wouldn't feel comfortable talking about some of the things done to them, what he did was take the high road for opening those hidden doors, I for one am going to commend him for that.
For these reasons he had my vote a while too but when you dig deeper and see the reoccurring patterns he's got harmful intentions and is also addicted to using ppl and his 'poor me' story to lure people in. He is not actually a caring person at heart it becomes clear. And, that it seems his target audience is youth makes it that much worse to me 🤢

Sounds well if you ask me. I really can't believe this guy annually earned over $100k in fiat money. But that's most likely also history. Although he still seems to have a big fan base.

Thanks for listing who is still voting for him. Now I can free up some slots on my witness vote list. I will not vote for Jerry or anyone that votes for him. Peer pressure is a great motivator.
He's down to 28 now. Lets keep removing those votes guys.
