My motto as a programmer
Good programmers are lazy programmers. Why/how?
Lazy programmers write and use libraries because they end up writing and testing less code and if there’s a bug, it’s someone else’s problem to fix it - or worst case mine anyway because I wrote the library code.
Lazy programmers document their code because it’s just too much trouble to have to reread the code six month’s later so you can understand why you did what you did when you have to modify it.
Lazy programmers pack up common code into functions they can reuse so they don’t have to type so much.
Lazy programmers avoid complex algorithms when a simple one will do. Fewer lines of code to write and debug.
Lazy programmers doesn't make over coding.
Lazy programmers doesn't have to write document for their codes are clear enough.
