I like being girlie. I like being a girl, y’all! I like to get dressed up and put on lipstick. I like BEING LOOKED AT. I play up my curves, because I find them beautiful. And I refuse to teach my daughter to fear or be ashamed of her own beauty. She is brilliant, kind, competitive AND stunningly beautiful.
No hiding.
The only thing I preach is to dig deep, acknowledge your true self, and then to do the shit out of it. 👊🏽✨

Thanks my friend. We women seem to have a love/hate relationship with our curves in general. I’ve had moments of angst of having too much and then not enough curves...sometimes within the same hour. It comes from living habitually in the heads of others, IOW unconsciously trying to fulfill others’ expectations. It’s a game of the ego just trying to feel safe. Screw that...I’m just doing me. 😉
The right if you happy with you then everything else will fall into place. Although you have nothing to worry about! 💯🐒

I raised two daughters, both away at college now.
Both beautiful. Not just dad saying so, but, both get praised for their beauty by many. Raising them was never easy. Teaching them to be who they are. Confident, Intelligent, and yes, be Beautiful if you want to be.
It sucked, going through the teen years, as I raised two "confident" (uhm... stubborn?) young ladies. But, now? I love their confidence.
