Catching Rainbows ๐
Iโm feeling a bit flummoxed this morning. I have so many things to say. So many insights have come to me lately. Mainly just experiencing awesome โah haโ moments throughout the days and not writing them out. So now, when I have a few moments to write, I donโt know where to begin. Which โah haโ to share first? I Donโt feel I have enough time to tackle any one of them well enough.
Omg itโs just like the rainbows I keep seeing here in Puerto Rico. They are fleeting and barely there, and yet so beautiful! When you try and capture them in a picture it pales in comparison to the experience of the moment of seeing them in real life. And yet I try. I keep seeing them and their beauty. I keep trying to capture the moment into little digital pixels. How can I NOT try?!

I think I learned it years ago when I went through a phase of reading Emily Brontรซ. Flummoxed and vexed seem to have been more commonly used during her era, and she used them well.
When any natural beauty is presented we should share it with others as it helps us break from droll routine, distraction and mindless โlife as usualโ. This was/is/will forever be the realm of the artist, be it mechanical or being an artist of life.

For me, rainbow is a sign of "Don't worry, everything will be fine". Whenever I look at the rainbow, it reminded me of how awesome is the Mother's Nature and how tiny I am as compare to the Earth.

Nothing compares to life in real life. All attempts to copy it, preserve it, memorialize it, can capture at best only a tiny little slice, a subtle hint of that moment.
A life spent mostly in the now is rich and intoxicating.
Amen, brother! Itโs so tempting to try and hold on and memorialize the experience. But I agree...and at times we can even miss the moment in our efforts to capture it.
Yup. That's that whole "do I want to watch the kids' games or take pictures of them" conundrum....
