Definitely a strong picture. The red is really vibrant and makes it of course a great entry for the colorchallenge. I don't know why, but the picture makes me think of ancient Egypt. Maybe, because the end of the earthly existence played such a major role. Could be the jewelry too, the gold and the necklace...
Wasn't "XIII-Death" your personal Tarot card? Transition... it really is always with us in so many aspects. And sex and death is the core of our existence after all.
I think Death was one of my personal cards. The other was the King 🤴. So true these are the core acts or inevitables of life! The beginning and the ending...transitions again. ✨
Oddly enough I've been battling my own demons lately, not that your muse comes from a bad place, just that it got me to ponder as well. I suppose that's a good thing in the end.
I really like the photo by the way. It's quite apropos. :)
Thanks so much. I chose it last week for today’s Red “color Challenge,” but then conversations and events in my life that happened yesterday made the selection feel quite serendipitous. Much luck to you sorting through your own demons.
@steemed -open don't we all have a bad side. In an article I wrote I about darthvader in me. We all have bad sides it's natural but the challenge is to keep a healthy balance. Interesting picture by the way
I don’t believe we have a “bad” side that needs to be fought or suppressed, no. We just ARE everything. Bad comes from not seeing life clearly. When the ego jumps in there labeling this aspect of ourselves good, this other aspect bad and starts trying to stage and control our appearance and our actions. This is a break in wholeness and when start hiding parts of ourself it leads to the illusion of having “a bad side.”
hot !!
Thank you ✊🏽
