QUINOA and MILLET, the Super magic Food
Quinoa and Millet
For years my girlfriend & I struggled with the highs & Lows of rising and falling blood sugar. Sometimes unknowingly if we crashed at the same time, we would figuratively tear each other’s heads off, for no apparent reason, other than we were just irritable. One time, embarrassingly, it happened in a restaurant line up, and we sill had no idea why. I’m positive its been the reason behind many an argument, and even a break ups! It took a long time to figure it out. Now we carry a small snack in the glove box, for emergencies, when we haven’t been able to eat.If you just can’t, or won’t go cold turkey without sugar? Like having to have sugar in your morning coffee for example, and you just will not change, try Stevia Leaf extract. Or Alcohol sugars like Xylrtol, or Inulig powder. They make just a slight change to your Lattte, Cappuccino, or Americano, as appose to NO SUGAR? My personal is Yacon Syrup. Foods high in fiber, also help manage your sugar spikes. The lesson here is try! Make a slow conscious shift in your diet. Slowly is the key word, until it sets like concrete, in your subconsciousness. Changing one bad habit, at a time, for one good habit. In closing the aim of your diet, [Blood Glucose] is to stay in the normal range, as much as possible. AS we all know the internet is packed with information, on this subject. My aim is to let you see that there are tons of little tricks, to keep you afloat while you go through the pain of change.
