Steemit Engagement Challenge - S7W3 | Steem education festival

Today, I am going to be a part of the week 3 contest in the Steem Entrepreneurs community. The topic of discussion is very interesting, Steem Education Festival. So, stay tuned with me.

What is steem power?

Steem Power is a very common term that is used on the Steem blockchain. It is actually the staked form of the native token of the platform, Steem. Yes, the staked or vested form of the Steem coin is actually known as the Steem Power. You can see my total Steem Power in the below screenshot.

The short form of the Steem Power is 'SP'. The Steem Power is actually the main influential thing that contributes towards the stability and maintenance of the Steem blockchain. If there is no the Steem Power in the existence, the Steem blockchain may also not exist.

Initially, the users when create the account on the Steem blockchain, they are given with the Steem Power amount of 25 SP, in general. This SP is actually the delegation that is given by the Steemit team to the newbies in order to perform the activities on the platform.

Without the Steem Power, a user is nothing on platform as he is not able to do anything, including the comments, posts, curation or witness votes. The Steem Power tell us about the influence of that user on the platform. The more the SP a user have, the more will be the influence of that user on the platform.

We can increase our Steem Power through various ways. The most easy and common way to improve your SP is to buy Steem from the external and send to the Steemit Wallet and then power then up. Besides that, we can get the SP by curating the content on the platform. Also, the content creators are also given with the SP as the author rewards.

What is the influence of steem power on your growth

As I have already said that the Steem Power is basically the main factor behind the influence of a user on the platform. There are some common influences of the Steem Power that are given below.

The most important influence of the Steem Power is on the Resource Credits (RCs). These RCs are actually used to do the blogging related activities on the platform just like posting the articles, commenting on others posts, etc. The more the SP, the more will be the RCs. The newbies on the platform mostly face the issue of shortage of RCs due to low SP. You can see the RCs of my account from the below screenshot.

Another important thing to be considered here is that Steem Power also affect the curation activities of the curators. The more will be the SP of a curator, the more will be the worth of the vote of that user. I also use my Steem Power to vote other users on the platform and earn the curation rewards in return. You can see my pending curation rewards in the below screenshot.

The witnesses are the most important part of the platform as they are actually the individuals that validate and store all the transactions that are carried out on the platform. The Steem Power of a user also influence the witnesses. The witnesses are selected by the governance voting. The worth of these witness votes depends on the Steem Power of that user who is voting the witness.

The Steem Power is also a main determining factor behind the selection of a user for any role. The communities are also encouraged to improve their Steem Power so that they could be able to support more and more users within our outside of the community. Some important roles that are influences by the Steem Power amount are as follow.

• Community Curators
• Newcomers Greeters
• Communities For Booming Support
• Communities For Engagement Challenges

Another important advantage of the Steem Power is that it is just like the staking of the Steem tokens within the platform. The stakeholders of the platform are the major contributors to the platform's growth also they are appreciated with Steem tokens on the creation of each block.

Moreover, the delegations that are given to different communities, projects or individuals are generate the good interests with reasonable APR of 2.93%. So, this is a very secure and influential staking in the cryptocurrency world.

How is your commitment to collecting steem power? We all know that the #club5050 campaign has had a very significant impact on the growth of Steem power. What is your opinion?

Collecting Steem Power is one of my main motto on the platform because I know that the SP holders have a very great future on the platform. There are several ways to gather good amount of SP that I have mentioned earlier. These managements that I have made to collect good amount of SP are as follow.

As I have already stated that we can earn the part of our author rewards in the form of SP on the platform. So, it is the best way to gather good SP. I am a regular blogger on the platform and I always do my best to create quality content on the platform so that I could get support and hence earn the SP. You can see the active posts of mine on the platform at the present time.

Another way to gather good SP on the platform is the by curating the quality posts. This is the best way to gather good SP on the platform. The curators are given with a good amount of the SP when the posts of the authors on which they have curated, are paid out. You can see my Voting CSI at the present time in the below screenshot.

The #club5050 initiative was introduced on the platform more than 1 year ago and this campaign has a very impact on the growth and stability of the platform. Club5050 states that the whenever a user withdraw the Steem, the equal amount of Steem must be powered up to gather the Steem Power.

This is the way to improve the staking the Steem token. We know that the circulating supply of a token is declined with the staking and the same is happening with the Steem. When the circulating supply is reduced, the price of that token or coin is maintained well.

I have joined the #club5050 campaign as soon as it was released and after 3 months, I became a member of #club100. I remained a member of #club100 up to the December 2022 and now I am a member of #club75 and I hope that I will be able to maintain this club status onwards.
