Guns Being Shot, Bank Robbery, Active Shooter, Domestic Violence, Women Getting Murdered: My Monday
AR 15, 12 Guage Shotguns, 9 MM, 45 cal, to name a few going off none stop. It is a war zone in our office. I really am not even feeling writing this right now because we are in a very challenging situation & emotions are running very very high.
The police academy has install a crisis situation simulator. Picture Call of Duty but way way better & way way louder. For the untrained person this could be very traumatic. Hearing someone die can be disturbing. They installed this $380,000 simulator right next door. The building is not sound proof and our walls have drop ceilings. Meaning the sound is coming through. When they shoot their firearms the walls shake. When the blast sounds like a hurricane simulation the windows rattle. It is absolutely insane. The officers are screaming the top of their lungs as well.
There is one simulation where a woman is being stabbed to death & she is screaming at the top of her lungs. Then the cadets shot the perp. Multiple times. Yes 187 (murder, death, kill) next door. Our business has come to a screeching halt. We are losing thousands of dollars because we can not service our clients. It is NUTS!!!!.
