Korea isn't just one of the leading countries regarding cryptocurrency adoption but as well one of the first ones to include blockchain technology into their businesses and overall infrastructure.

Hence it's not surprising that the Korean Customs Service (KCS) is looking into the development of a blockchain-based customs platform and already consulted Malltail to perform this task.

Malltail is the leading consumer parcel forwarding service to Korea, with reportedly over one mln users. Its Korean operator, Korea Center, will be tasked with business and technical development of the blockchain-based customs platform, which is to be operated by the KCS for seven Malltail distribution centers across the US, Japan and Germany.

I'm excited about all those happenings that bring business and governmental institutions closer to the blockchain technology. It's the first stepping stone to get the underlying technology of cryptocurrency as a good thing into the minds of people and whenever that happens, the road to mass adoption is clear :)
