Introduction

Goodafternoon and welcome to another opportunity to learn about the Steem Road Show. The Road show is our pilot project for promoting Steemit in cities across Nigeria. We have used this project to create the biggest awareness for Steemit in Nigeria. More than 70 Pormoters across 7 states are activiely promoting Steemit through the roadshow. This post helps us keep up to date with the work they are doing.

How Significant is the Steem Road Show

The significance of the road show cannot be overemphasized.The postive result that it has yielded is glaring on our faces.Because of the many positive results that have come from the Steem Road show,we are not planning of stopping it anytime soon. It is in fact or biggest promotional activity in the community. Here are 3 reasons why we hold the Road Show in high esteem:

Creating Awareness: It is very obvious that the steem Road Show has helped to create more awareness for Steemit in the cities where we do it.The cities include but not limited to Aba,Uyo, Umuahia,Lagos,Port Harcourt,Owerri among others cities. When people see us as we participate in groups in various cities, they have the opportunity to learn about Steemit and know what it Stands for. Even people that will not eventually join us have come to know that something like Steemit exists. So by creating awareness in our local environments, the Steem Road Show has been a powerful tool to help us spread the word about Steemit.

Building the Steem Brand: Many people have come to recognize Steem as an international brand with a big image. The consistency and packaging which we give the road show has made Steem look formidable and strong. We give huge credit to the promoters that volunteer their time and energy to see to it that a large awareness is created for Steeemit through the Steem Road show

Recruiting New Users: Apart from the above mentioned advantages, the roadshow has been a way to recruit new users to our community. We generally have a target of recruiting at least one new user by each promoter any day we participate in the Roadshow, This has made it possible forour community to continue growing both in members and promoters.

Supporting our Promoters that Participate in the Roadshow

The roadshow is such an important project. nevertheless, it is not the easiest. To stand under the sun for many hours talking to people about Steemit is not easy. So we try to appreciate and support our members in the little way we can. For example, we make sure that each roadshow post gets a trail vote. In this way, we help our promoters to get little support.
