Introduction

Hello friends and family on steemit, I will like greet everyone in this noble community most especially the three country representatives. We appreciate their hard work. Also greet active members in @steem-ghana community. We thank you for your support in this noble community. We thank the @steemitblog, @steemcurator01 and @boomingcurators for their help on both the members and community power is growing day by day. And I will again thanks @steemitblog for bringing #club5050 #club70 and #club100 initiative and for by it, it has helped us all.

The Main Idea

There is a lot of us in this community most especially the #newbies have not gone through the newcomers community classes and because of that I taken unto myself to write about how to buy steem or how to convert steem dollar to steem and by so doing we are promoting #club5050 initiative. And also how to power up to increase steem power. And you are going to view how to transfer steem dollar to steem step by step.

Step №01

Before you convert you go to your wallet area and you go to steem dollar area at where the red circle is.

Step №02

This is the pop up you will see after you click on the steem dollar option in the wallet area in the step one. And you could see transfer, transfer to saving, market and trade.

1. Transfer: This option is where steem dollar is transfer to other steemit user.
2. Transfer to Saving: This is where steemit user transfer to his or her own wallet for future use.
3. Market: This place is where one convert steem dollar to steem to power up.
4. Trade: This place is where buy steem with a real money for power.

For because I have underline the market, a user who want to powerup steem should click on this option and convert it's steem dollar to steem.

Step №03

This very place is very important because in this place, it is where steem dollar (SBD) is been converted to Steem. Please after clicking on the market area in the steem dollar place, you shall see Sell. And in it yo you will see price, amount, and total. And it is the same as buy at the below of the sell. Buy in green is a place where (SBD) is been converted to Steem. And sell in red is a place where steem are been converted to (SBD). And because I talking about powerup I will focus on the buy, that is buying steem from steem dollar.

Definitions

• PRICE: This is the current value of steem or steem dollar in the steem market.
• AMOUNT: This is the quantity of steem or steem dollar someone wants to sell or buy.
• TOTAL: This is the final quantity someone will get after selling steem dollar or buying steem dollar.
• AVAILABLE: This is the total amount of steem dollar or steem someone has in his or her wallet.
• LOWEST ASK: The lowest price a potential seller is willing to accept.
• HIGHEST DID: This is the best cash offer in the series received by the servicer.

Process of Converting Steem Dollar To Steem

• You will click on the steem dollar amount in the wallet area.
• Then a new page will be open for you.
• And at the top left you shall see buy steem.
• Then below the buy steem you will see price, amount and total.
• Then in the total you type amount of steem dollar you have.
• Then the total steem you have buy will appear in the amount area.
• Then you click on the buy option below the total.
• Then you confirm either you really want to buy the steem or not.
• And after confirming it an option will appear for you to complete the buying.
• Then you type your posting key in that area and then click it to buy it.
• Finally a notification will come to confirm that you have really buy your steem.

Step №04

In this final step we are going to look at how to transfer steem to Steem power. In this process it is called powering up. And after seeing that notification in the market area you come back to this part. The steem you have converted will be added to the current steem you have. Then at the powering up option you click on it.

And then you click on the amount you want to use as steem power. And then you type your password to confirm the transaction.

NB: Please you can only transfer amount steem you have in your wallet.
