Galbi Jjim


Ingredients

  • 40 ml of salty soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice wine
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cm ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 spring onion, take the white part, finely sliced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seed, roasted, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper, mashed
  • 1/2 kg ribs beef flesh, cut 6 cm long
  • 2 tbsp oil for sauteing
  • 100 g onion, finely sliced
  • 100 g carrots, peeled, sliced round 1/2 cm thick
  • 500 ml of water
  • 100 g of water chestnut canned, drained, boiled until cooked, drain
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

The steps

  1. Mix the salty soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, wine and sesame oil, stir well. Add onions, garlic, ginger, spring onion, sesame seed, sugar, and pepper. Mix well until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Let stand for 60 minutes until the spices soak. Set aside.
  3. Heat oil, stir-fry onion until it changes color. Add carrots and ribs, stir well. Cook until the ribs change color and mature. Enter carrots, remaining marinade, and water, stir well, Boil. Cook until everything is cooked.
  4. Add water chesnuts and salt, mix well. Bring to a boil, pick up.
  5. Serve warm.
