Ingredients
- 4 cups of flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 tablespoons of cooking oil
- 1 tablespoon black cumin
The steps
- Sift flour, salt and baking powder in a large bowl, make a hole in the middle.
- Beat sugar, milk, eggs and 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
- Pour the result from the shake into a flour mixture, knead until elastic.
- Add leftover cooking oil while stirring, then put it into a bowl, cover with a cloth soaked with warm water, let stand batter for about 15 minutes. Open, knead again for a while, then close again with a damp cloth for 2-3 hours.
- Preheat oven to 400C. Divide the dough into 8 sections, rounded shape, then gilas become slightly oval and flat. Grease the surface of the dough with oil and sprinkle with black cumin, then bake until fluffy and browned. Serve hot.
