Falafel


Ingredients

  • 2 cups of dried chickpeas
  • 1/4 cup parsley, sliced
  • 5 cloves of garlic, roasted
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 tsp cumin
  • A pinch of cardamom
  • 1 tsp coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 3/4 tsp salt
  • Water to soak
  • 1 1/2 tbsp wheat flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Cooking oil

The steps

  1. Soak chickpeas overnight.
  2. After the volume becomes 2-3 fold, drain.
  3. Add Chickpeas, flour and all spices into the blender. Blend until it is well blended. Lift
  4. Move it into another container, cover and store it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  5. After 2 hours, remove and shape the dough like a ball.
  6. Prepare a frying pan. Fry until browned.
  7. Lift, drain and ready to serve.
