Jaguars @ Browns
Week eleven brings us the matchup between the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars(6-3)and the hosting Cleveland Browns(0-9)at the First Energy Stadium.
Browns
Nine games down, and the win just seems to edge further and further away from the Browns grasp, who have yet to claim victory in a single game this season. The Browns have really struggled offensively, only managing 15.9 points on average a game, couple this stat with the fact, that the Jaguars have the number one defensive record in the NFL, only allowing a 13.3 points a game, suggests that this could potentially be a shut out.
That old saying ''its lonely at the top'' must be doubly true for those at the bottom. Considering the Browns are the only team in the NFL who have failed to achieve a win this season, leaving them sitting bottom of their division, their Conference and the league, they must be feeling very lonely and very down hearted.
Jaguars
The Jags currently find themselves battling it out in a heated contest for the top spot in the AFC south, against the Tennessee Titans(6-4), who lost their week eleven game to the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Coming into the game with a three game win streak and the knowledge that your opponents are on a nine game losing streak, could potentially lead to complacency, but a win on sunday against the Browns would allow a little bit of breathing room at the top for the Jags, and this fact gives them something to play for, and should therefore rule out the possibility of complacency.
The Jaguars seem to have the Browns beaten on all fronts, offensively they have the combined prowess of Blake Bortles and Leonard Fournette, and defensively they have Calais Campbell(11 sacks) and Yannick Ngakoue(6.5 sacks). I'll go with the jags to cover the spread on this one.
