First Day in School for the first semester | Exciting day
Hello, my dear fellow #steemians! How is your day? I just want to share my excitement to finally met my student in first day of my class..

Today marks the beginning of the first semester school year 2018-2019. My students are very excited to see me for I was not able to come last week because I need to finish my Company Immersion. I arrive at 6:40H in school leaving home 5 minutes before 6:00H.
Not only me who is very excited and #happy but also my first-year students who are fresh graduates from the first batch of Senior High School in the Philippines. I started the class with the course requirements of the subject so that they are properly guided based on the objectives stipulated in the course syllabi of the course. I have also subject from the Criminology Department which is the Basic Application in Computer.
Topics covered:
- Introduction
- Von Neuman Architectures
- Basic Number System
- Disk Operating System (DOS) commands.
- The use of the Internet in their field of study
- Social Responsibilities
- Word Advance Application
- Spreadsheet Advance Application
- Introduction of Database Application
I motivate them to have focused on the topic covered in the given course outline so that they are going to give emphasis on the application of computer #technology in their field.
The picture above was one of the major subjects in the college which is Data Structure 1 for the regular Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT) course. This is their first exercise of the subject which has a review of Java Programming as their language using methods/functions. I demonstrate first in order to review some keywords, syntax and semantics of the application. They let themselves discover to implements the additional methods in real application/coding. They are having fun during their coding because they can relate it in connection to the previous subjects that is pre-requisite in taking their course.
I happy also very grateful for the interest in taking time to analyze the given problem to be implemented in the laboratory.
My class started at 7:30 with one hour vacant after two consecutive subjects which ends up 18:31H.
Dear Lord, thank you very much of this young minds that you have entrusted me help build their future. May you continue to shower them the gift of wisdom and understanding of all their undertaking.
