Good evening fellow steemian, how's day going? Mine wasn't fine because I think I getting 🤒 I'll, I had to force myself to write this article so the article might be brief and cool. So today I went to the market to get ingredients to cook Ogbono soup, which is one of the most cooked food is south eastern part of Nigeria.
Ogbono soup: is native soup prepared in the eastern part of the world. It's naturally known for its slippery nature. It's usually Used only in it's powdered form.
I am my favorite chief because I learned from professionals which are my mother and my elder sister. These two are both great chief. I love cooking these days and my grandparents actually love my style and I also love my style. My friends used to ask how did I learnt to cook like a woman but I all tell them if you are determined you will learn. So I will be preparing Ogbono soup which can be eaten with any form of swallow like Garri, Semovita or wheat flour.
° Grinded Ogbono
° Palm oil
° Ugu leave
° onion bulb
° Stock fish, fresh fish or any meat
° Water
°Step 1
Pour in palm oil into a dried clean pot then put the post on top a cooking medium such as gas cooker, kerosene stove or firewood
°Step 2
Slice your washed onion bulb pour in into the pot and stir for 1 minute. Then go get your stock fish.
°Step 3
Then add your powdered Ogbono into the pot, and stir for 1 minute. Then close your pot
°Step 4
Wash your stock fish properly. At first wash with hot water and then wash with cold water.
°Step 5
Add the washed stock fish and add water enough to cover the Stock fish, then close your pot and wait for 15 min
°Step 6
Add your vegetables (Ugu) and spices like you Salt, pepper, seasoning cube and any desired spice you like.

I love ogbono soup too, because it is village healthy and has a lot of vitamins it gives to the body, do you know that ogbono soup can help build your immune system and build fertility too.

Ogbono soup is actually one of my best foods. I prepare it so well too. There is this new style I learnt from my sister some years ago. At first, I didn't wanna use it but when I started using it, I saw that it was the best. I had always used it for all my preparation of the soup.

Ogbono soup looks like a soup I'd eat with delight during a Sunday lunch in my backyard. And sure, I'd need a hammock after that, for I'd get sleepy after eating som much of it :D
