There is no love like Jesus',
So trustworthy in this world of deception;
There is no companion like Jesus,
To be with me in life's every high and low;
There is no friend like Jesus,
To cry in my sorrow and rejoice in my joy;
There is no teacher like Jesus,
To correct me with his merciful rod, until I shine like gold;
There is no master like Jesus,
Who himself helps me to do his commandments;
There is no lover of soul like Jesus,
To admire greatly, my little virtues;
There is no King like Jesus,
Who forsook his throne, to enthrone me in the highest;
There is no one like Jesus,
Full of love, nothing but love.
