It Feels Like Something’s Off For The Normal Guy and Gal

Like the teeter totter at the playground, so are the markets of our life’s. One day up and then one day down and then up again the next day. It seems like a lot more volatility is happening in the markets. The Fed has a few more meetings to decide how much the rates will continue to rise. Oil is back almost to the $80 dollar range. And don’t forget we get midterm elections this fall as well. It’s making for an interesting start to the summer months.

        ——PRECIOUS METALS——

It’s like the metals are treading water and the only question is will they be given a life vest or given a rock. The spot price has dipped below the 200 day moving average so don’t panic just yet. This could mean that the bulls are still interested and that it could be a good time to buy in case the price heads higher like it did in the past. Gold is still above $1,300 and Silver is above $16.50. If oil prices continue to rise and wages for the workers at the mine continue to rise so will the price of the metals to get them into your stacks.

         ——STOCK MARKET——

We had a nice rally to start off the year due to Trump and now it has been a back and forth of huge up days and big down days, because of Trump. Global tensions and economic woes are playing a key factor in the markets. We’re still well above 20,000 on the Dow and it’s not showing any signs of going down anytime soon.

        ——CRYPTO CURRENCIES——

The big three are barely in the green today but Steem keeps taking it in the mouth. I hope we don’t see the price continue to fall.

         ——OIL PER BARREL——

Brent crude futures have risen to $77.50 a barrel, and West Texas Intermediate crude was up to $68.21 a barrel. It’s like the calm before the storm!

        ——US DOLLAR INDEX——

If we have massive inflation and the economy falls apart we will see this strong dollar turned into a paper dragon.

       ——BALTIC DRY INDEX——

Its continued its downward momentum and with the global economy in some sort of trouble goods and services will continue to fall

         ——US DEBT CLOCK——

          ——STACKITIS——
