The BIG picture and you!

To see the bigger picture, one very important attitude we need to develop is thinking big.
We have to learn to see things beyond what they presently are. We need to see humans and things as what they can be, not just what they are at the moment.
Unfortunately, many blind people abound, people who are blind to potentials and no matter what you put before them, they will keep missing it for the good it is.
Two scenarios will be used to explain this.
Case 1.

Bryan, a regular customer, walks into a store to buy some goods but because he’s buying items worth $2, the salesman isn’t courteous or friendly at all. Instead, he ignores him and attends to the customer buying goods worth $100 first. Annoyed, Brian decides he’d never return to that store.
Let’s look at the big picture.
Bryan usually buys goods worth $2 everyday, meaning, in a year, Bryan spends $720 at the store. So, because the salesman wasn’t looking at the bigger picture, they just lost a customer worth $720!
Case 2.

Ted works in a company and his salary is just fine for him. So he just goes about his regular duties and isn’t really interested in doing more, or what other departments are doing.
But Jack a big thinker, doesn’t just stay in his space. He goes out of his way to find out how he can improve the company sales, regardless of his field because he knows that, the company’s progress means progress for him too.
Which of them is more likely to be successful?
Sometimes, what we just need to do is to Zoom In the picture as it were, so we can see that whatever is the challenge at the moment is just a small part of a big plan.
Think Big!
Whatever we do, we need to focus on the bigger objective. In marriage, the big objective is peace, tranquility, happiness. Not winning quarrels or saying “I told you so.”
In working with employees, the big objective is developing their potentials, not making an issue out of minor errors.
In living with neighbors, the big objective is mutual respect and friendship, not checking who did or didn’t do whatever.
In life, the big objective is reaching our goals and achieving our dreams. So before we engage in a negative argument, or take some kind of negative action, let’s stop and ask ourselves, “Will this really matter in the long run? Is this going to take me closer to my goals?”
In all situations, looking at the bigger picture will help to make better decisions and more successful!
This is one good way to look at things and stay ahead of the downward spiral curve that leads nowhere.
I call case 1. Little Drops and case 2. Thinking outside the box. You should make sure to think outside the box and appreciate little drops.

True talk sir... Sometimes a lot of persons are very comfortable with their state (in box thinking) and would want to adjust to the trend of change.
Its very important with think big. The stach hub is a perfect example of seeing beyond and we are proud of your visionary out of the box leadership.
Someone once told me that I need to overcome the infatuation of comfort.
This has really helped me...
Even in little things like trying to get extra sleep😆
Solid advice!
Hmmm. This is very true. But sometimes the "fear of the unknown" tends to hold people back from thinking outside the box or even trying out something new/different for change.
We'd never know unless we try.
Fear that you're not taking full advantage of your potentials is a better one
In the largest context (taking into account the holographic nature of everything) EVERY thing and EVERY event is supremely important to exactly the same degree.
We may not even have all the details, but we just have to find ways to expand
Àwesome post for morning digestion. Thanks @sussan
Thanks for thanking me 😄
Wow, nice one @sussan. One major problem is that people are so myopic, they can't see farther than their nose, so seeing the big picture would be a bit of a problem. I just hope their myopia gets corrected.
It starts with me and you dear
I just digested this, well illustrated. Thumbs up
Wow. This is a mentality. Thanks for this awesome post.
Thanks too
Wow. So nice....think outside the box!
Yeah...
True fact. Thinking outside the box, breeds innovation and self dependence.
Innovation, yes.
Self dependence, No.
We get to look beyond ourselves, because everyone is part of this big picture, so while working on our own improvement, we help others see what they're missing too.
Because in the end, we all need each other
